Hi, I'm Scott.

I created MyMyelitis after navigating MOGAD myself and experiencing how isolating, uncertain, and confusing life with a rare condition can feel.

Over the last few years I've spoken with people across the MOGAD community about some of the challenges that rarely get discussed:

  • Symptom uncertainty
  • Relapses and treatment decisions
  • Identity changes
  • Rebuilding life after diagnosis

While I can't provide medical advice, I can offer something that's often hard to find:

A calm, understanding conversation with someone who has lived through many of the same challenges.

This Call May Be Helpful If...

If any of these sound familiar, this conversation may be helpful.

You keep finding yourself asking:
 "Is this a relapse?"
You're feeling overwhelmed by symptoms or uncertainty
You don't feel like yourself anymore
You feel isolated or misunderstood
You're struggling to adjust to life after diagnosis
You want to talk things through with someone who understands the lived experience of MOGAD

What Happens During The Call?

The conversation is guided by what's most important to you. Depending on where you are in your journey, conversations often include:

Symptom uncertainty
Fatigue and daily challenges
Emotional impact of MOGAD
Healthcare frustrations
Rebuilding confidence and getting back into life
Identifying practical next steps

You don't need to have the right questions or all the answers. We simply start with what's most important to you right now.

Still Have Questions?

Is this really free?

Yes.

These conversations are completely free.

They help me better understand the challenges people in the MOGAD community are facing so I can create more useful resources, content, and support in the future.

Will you try to sell me something?

No.

My priority is helping you leave with greater clarity and understanding.

If I believe another resource could be helpful, I'll mention it. But this is not a high pressure sales call.

Can you give medical advice?

No.

I'm not a medical professional and can't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Any medical concerns should always be discussed with your healthcare team.

What I can offer is lived experience, practical perspective, and emotional support.

What if I don't have MOGAD?

That's absolutely fine.

If you're currently being investigated for MOGAD, awaiting a diagnosis, or living with a related neuroimmune condition, you may still find the conversation helpful.

If you're unsure whether the call is right for you, feel free to book and we'll figure it out together.

What If I Don't Know What To Talk About?

That's completely normal.

You don't need to prepare anything beforehand.

We'll simply start with what's been most challenging or most important for you recently and take it from there.

Is Everything Confidential?

Yes.

Our conversation will remain private and won't be shared with anyone else without your permission.

What If I Need To Cancel Or Reschedule?

No problem.

Your confirmation email will contain links allowing you to reschedule or cancel if your plans change.
